The Lightning in Wilson NY.

The Lightning was a real sailboat. A 19' centerboard sloop. The class was active on Lake Ontario.
 
 
 
 

There was a small Knarr fleet on the Lake. The Great Lake Knarrs had slightly higher freeboard and more sail than the original Knarr class that competes in Scandinavia and San Francisco. We had US 42....

 The kids have their own boat, too. "Moby Duck" is an Optimist pram. It hasn't seen much more of the world than Vasseide Harbor as of yet...
