Although Erik Salander was not primarily known for his small square meters, his name deserves a prominant place in the ranks of top designers. It is not unusual to spot this designer in registers over 22, 30 and 40 square meters, but he seems to have had trouble getting into the market for the small one design boats dominated by names such as Holm and Estlander. He made up for this in his presence on the large yacht scene. Quite a number of the 55, 75 and 95 square meters constructed were Salander designs.
